Most insurances will be filed. Please bring your insurance card for filing and driver’s license at time of service. For those who do not have insurance and would like to participate, the cost is $247.50; payable at time of service (this includes a 25% discount and the Radiologist interpretation). THE MOBILE “DIGITAL” MAMMOGRAPPHY UNIT of the Knoxville Comprehensive Breast Center is certified by the FDA and accredited by the ACR- your best assurance of a quality mammogram. Our Clinical Breast Radiologists who specializes in breast imaging and are board certified, interpret the images.

THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY gives the following recommendation for breast cancer screening: Age 40 & above- Mammogram yearly A GOOD CANDIDATE for screening mammograms has no implants and is not having current breast problems, i.e. feeling a specific lump/pain or nipple discharge. A woman with these breast concerns needs a diagnostic appointment. Women under the age of 35 are also not good screening candidates and should be seen by their physician if they have any concerns. Please wear a two-piece outfit, no deodorant, powder or lotion between the neck and waist area.
