Shopping Urgency... What the is that and how do I get it? |

Our business is unique... To that end I am trying to take pieces of our business and break it down.
One of those pieces is the "shopping urgency" concept. Folks are many times distrustful of retailers. They have car dealers shouting at them, young overly tech savy kids at Best Buy telling them what to do and other retailers who stock "deep" on the shelves to prevent "shopping urgency". To this end our staff has to do a little training with the customer. When a customer asks about a certain flat screen television in our store or a set of dishes that they like, we tell them, "it's a great deal and if you like it you should get it now". Many first time customers leave the store to come back in a day or two with their husband or wife to help make the decision. Our first time customers then are many times disappointed to find that they can't buy that item because it's already sold. After a few times of this happening and our customers begin to realize that our SalvageUnlimited shopping experience is unique in many ways. The rule is, if you like it and we don't have 50 of them, buy it. ( more about wholesale later ) Sounds self-serving but if we tell you this up front you have a better opportunity to enjoy our best deals.
We don't aim to disappoint and we train our team members to help you understand the "shopping urgency" we have in our stores. I hope to see you in one of our 5 retail (opening in Maryville and White Pine locations) stores soon. We hope to have you as a lifetime urgent shopper.
