Join us August 30th, 2008 for Cedar Pond Farms Annual Catfish Derby. Our picturesque setting in the hills of New Market, Tennessee is sure to make this a memorable event for all! Two flights will be held at 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. Come out an hour early and enjoy a day of fishing and fun! See ya'll there!
There will be a 200 fisherman limit per each flight of the derby at 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. Food & drink will be available during each event and can be pre-purchased with your online registration. Please register by July 10th, 2008 via the online registration form below.
• Fisherman must only use provided bait. Night crawlers only. No added "flavoring" or modifying of bait in any way will be permitted. Any suspicion of modifying bait will result in immediate disqualification from the event.
• No food or beverage is to be brought onto Cedar Pond Farms property. Those in violation will be asked to leave.
• This is a for profit event.
• Prizes are limited to one (1) prize per person.
• All catfish must be weighed alive, no exceptions.
• All fish must be checked and counted before leaving the premises.
• No sharing fish. No "teaming" a new form must be filled out for each participant
• All fish are catch and release
• Cedar Pond Farms reserves the right to remove anyone from the event at anytime for any cause including unsportsmanlike behavior. Unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated.
• Any cheating disqualifies you from the event and forfeits your entry fee and any prizes.
• Officials decide all weights with a professional scale(s).
• In case of ties the prize money for each place shall be added, then divided equally. For example, if three people tie for second place then money for second, third and fourth will be added then split three ways.
• As fish are caught, please bring directly to the weigh-in station during weigh-in hours. The fish will be logged in and a hole punched in the dorsal fin. If any angler catches a catfish with a hole in the dorsal fin he/she cannot bring it to the weigh-in station and be counted.
• Entry fees will not be refunded for "no show".
• Those who enter the adult contest under 18 years of age must have a co-signer. The co-signer is required to be present at the fish weigh-in. Co-signer must be prepared to take a lie detector test.
• Decision of the officials is final.
